How To Relax On A Trail And Find The Correct Riding Line

Professional riders have one thing in common – they take their sport seriously. If you are just starting out in mountain biking, you may feel that it is okay to do it once in a month. #1) Always keep your eyes on where you want to go

Some trails are full of obstacles such as rocks, roots, and twigs. On such heavy-duty trails, your eyes should be affixed on the path that offers the least resistance. You should not be attentive about the obstacles and just focus on the way you have to go. If you will pay too much heed to the obstacles in your way, you will increase the chances of hitting them. This process of focusing only on the target riding line is known as target fixation.

Also, remember to loosen up your grip at the handlebar. This too effectively makes you absorb more of the shocks. If you will hold on to your bike with white-knuckle death grip, it will cause of arms and legs to fatigue sooner, so leave some room and let your body as a good shock absorber.  Remember, we are looking to build stamina here and we want to stay on the bike with an efficient grip for as long as possible. If your hands and legs get tired, you won’t be able to ride your bike safely, so it’s important to maintain a comfortable grip – neither to loose, nor too tight.
